AnnArbor.com's first floor Community Space in downtown Ann Arbor will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Sept. 2.

The Red Cross will be set up at 301 E. Liberty St. between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Blood donors must sign up ahead of time for a specific time slot by going to www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation and entering the sponsor code annarbordotcom. You can change your selected time after signing up for an appointment if needed.

The blood drive is part of AnnArbor.com's effort to use its first floor space for community activities. The Community Space is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily during the week and also offers a small conference room for members of the public to reserve for use at no cost.
