Need help using AnnArbor.com? Training session offered on Friday

By Stefanie Murray

AnnArbor.com will host a training session to help folks learn how to navigate the Internet to find news, focusing on how to use AnnArbor.com, at the downtown branch of the Ann Arbor District Library on Friday.

The session will run from 11 a.m. to noon in the third floor computer lab. Space is limited; reserve your spot by emailing community@annarbor.com or calling 734-623-2570.

We will continue to set up outreach events like this, so if you can't make this training session but are interested in attending a future one, let us know. Also, if you are part of a group or organization that would benefit from having a presentation about AnnArbor.com, tell us. A member of our staff would be happy to work with you.

In addition, don't forget that AnnArbor.com's first floor community space is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 301 E. Liberty St. in downtown Ann Arbor. If you stop by during the day, we can give you a quick tutorial on how to use our Web site.

Isn't that paper being left on my driveway a rival publication?

I don't subscribe to the print edition, but I hope information about this (and future) events is being published prominently in the print versions (including the free version with ads for Meijer, et. al, being left at the end of non-subscribers(?) driveways every week), as having these announcements only online would seem to miss the intended audience.
