The blaze that shut down the Magna factory just west of Howell last week threatened OEM production across the US - but just four days after the fire raged through the 187,000-square-foot facility, it's back in service.
About 50 percent of the building's capacity was functioning again by Monday morning, according to a report in LivingstonDaily.com.
The fire nearly immediately affected production shifts at several General Motors plants, according to earlier reports.
