Ann Arbor iPhone application developer to expand to other devices

By Nathan Bomey

An Apple iPhone application a day could keep Ann Arbor's Web development community busy for quite some time.

The region's software sector has pounced on the opportunity to develop applications for the popular iPhone. The trend is proving to be a small but meaningful economic development boost for Ann Arbor.

Among the iPhone app leaders is University of Michigan student-led startup Mobil33t, which developed the popular DoGood application. Concentrate Media reports today that Mobil33t expects to expand its applications to the Blackberry and Palm Pre devices.
