Greg Lehmkuhl today was named president of Con-way Freight, which is headquartered at a building that's visible just east of U.S. 23 on Old Earhart Road south of Plymouth Road. He was previously executive vice president of operations for Con-way Freight.

Con-way Inc. CEO Douglas Stotlar had been temporarily serving as president of Con-way Freight since former President John Labrie exited in August 2010. Stotlar will continue to serve as CEO of Con-way Inc.

“Our LTL company has regained its footing,” Stotlar said in a statement. “These results are a testament to Greg’s collaborative leadership, strategic insight, hard work and the trust and credibility he’s established with our employees and the Board. These strengths will serve him well as he assumes the leadership reins at Con-way Freight.”

Con-way Freight operates a network of 365 trucking stations with 18,000 employees and 32,750 tractors and trailers throughout the country.
