New name chosen for A2Y Chamber morning breakfast series
When the Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor Area Chambers merged, one of the biggest reasons for the merger was to benefit membership and offer a wider range of networking opportunities. So when it was time to determine the future of Ypsilanti’s First Tuesday Breakfast and Ann Arbor’s Morning Edition, the A2YChamber decided to combine them and make it even better.
The new breakfast series will begin in January and will be called A2Y Early Edition. The series will be held at the centrally located Kensington Court. The popular Morning Edition format with multiple speakers and topics will remain, along with the wide variety of breakfast foods.
The exact time of the new series will be announced later this year, however members and prospective members will be pleased to hear that networking prior to the breakfast will remain as well as time to mix and mingle immediately following the program.
Please make sure to attend the last Morning Edition to be held on November 17th at Weber’s Inn where the speakers will include Mike Miller from Google, Tim Colbeck from the Ypsilanti DDA, Gloria Brooks from Arbor Hospice, and Larry Eiler from Eiler Communications.
We will also be having a First Tuesday Breakfast at Washtenaw Community College on November 2nd. The speaker will be President and CEO of St. Joseph Mercy Health System’s Ann Arbor, Saline and Howell hospitals, Robert Casalou who will be speaking on “The Changing Face of Health Care: What It Means for Our Community and Your Business.”
