The first stop on the tour, at 8120 Huron St. in Dexter, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and care was taken in remodeling to retain the home's historic character during two phases of remodeling: first a conservatory addition to the west, and then a breezeway connector with a two car garage and a guest suite above to the east.

The roster of homes to be toured includes 17 different remodels. Hours for the tours are 3-7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday. The cost is $10 per adult, and children 16 and under can tour for free.
