Ann Arbor SPARK CEO Podcasts: Conversations on Economic Opportunity capture the flavor of my one-on-one conversations with over one hundred key economic leaders in the region, including private sector CEOs, elected and appointed public sector leaders, and the executive leadership of key non-profit and academic institutions. The podcast series is designed to not only highlight that expertise, but also make it available to others who could benefit from the wisdom those business leaders can share.

Bill Milliken founded Milliken Realty, an award-winning real estate business, in 1996. An active business community participant and supporter, he has long been recognized for his leadership. Bill is the former chair of the Washtenaw Development Council and is on Ann Arbor SPARK's business development committee. Bill is president-elect of the 24,000-member Michigan Association of Realtors and serves on the board of directors of New Detroit. Bill is also on the board of the CCIM Institute, the commercial real estate industry's leading trade group. Previously, Bill was president of Michigan's Commercial Board of Realtors (CBOR) and named CBOR's Realtor of the Year (2006).

In our CEO Podcast, Bill and I discuss Michigan's turnaround from recession and the current state of its real estate market. Bill also touches on his desire to make Michigan business more immigrant-friendly.
