Real estate brief: Asking price for Ann Arbor's Cavern Club reduced

By Dan Meisler

The asking price for Nick Easton’s Cavern Club building has been reduced by nearly $500,000, and Easton is willing to offer owner financing to a qualified buyer.

Jim Chaconas of Colliers International in Ann Arbor took over the listing this summer, and originally had the price at $2.845 million. Now, it's $2.35 million.

The building is home to several nightclubs as well as Easton's 3,000-square-foot apartment featuring antique furniture and a rooftop Tiki bar and sauna.

Easton has been trying to sell the building, which totals 25,000 square feet, since fall 2007, when the asking price was $6.875 million.
