Since leaving the company, Crumm has remained busy. She is the owner and CEO of Present Value, LLC, an executive coaching company, sits on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations in Ann Arbor, and has been active in the venture capital world through angel investing.
“Michelle and [fellow appointee] Ron [Hall] are outstanding Michiganders and business professionals,” Snyder said in a statement. “I am confident they will do great work on behalf of Western Michigan University.”
Crumm and Hall will serve an eight-year term on the eight-member board which will end in December 2020.

Yeah, let's just hope she doesn't try to sell Western to some overseas company.

I feel that Gov. Snyder has made a great choice, I only wish that it were for a Eastern Michigan Univ. regent. I've followed Adptive Mat'l's growth and it is great to see an Ann Arbor firm do so well. She will probably apply a similar strategy to Western Michigan University.
