Barnes & Noble's contributions to the event were trick or treating throughout the store, the Monsters' Monster Storytime and the Wild Swan Theater production of "Reynard the Fox" bookfair.

"It was definitely busy in the store," said customer relations manager Gayle Townsend, "but so worth it. This is our third year. It's an added opportunity for us to reach out to the community and have a little fun."
