Saline city clerk honored for 40 years of service

Saline's city clerk received a surprise commendation at a Saline City Council meeting in early June.

Saline City Clerk Dianne Hill (right) was surprised by a proclamation honoring her 40 years of service to the city Monday night by Mayor Gretchen Driskell, city staff, friends, family and former city mayors.

Dianne Hill, who began working for the city in payroll and accounting in 1971, was promoted several times and has served as city clerk since 1988.

Friends, family, co-workers and former mayors attended the meeting and praised Hill for her professionalism and many years of service.
