By Paula Gardner

Will you be shopping in Washtenaw County on Black Friday?

Tell AnnArbor.com readers about your experiences.

Go to our homepage to find a story that asks readers to share information about what they’re finding in the stores: Good deals, heavy traffic warnings, indications of crowds and “war stories” about the hunt for a good deal - and the satisfaction of finding it.

Just log in as a commenter and post away.

Want to share photos? Email them to news@annarbor.com. We’ll be looking for examples of the day’s shopping to share in that same story.

Meanwhile, if you want to share any of your shopping plans for Friday here (or even if you're heading out today for the doorbusters at various stores), please add your comments to this story.

This is a little off-subject and I apologize, but there was not a more appropriate headline I could post under. I went to my garage for my fork lift so I could get my hard copy of annarbor.com out of my mail box. After a long struggle, I finally got it into my house, set my bathroom scale exactly on "0" and plopped the paper down onto the scale. Five Pounds! How Green is that? I acknowledge that my scale could be off a few ounces and that it's a wet day. But, Five Pounds!? In the words of Bill Maher, "Oh, I kid annarbor.com!" Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Shopping, everyone!

I for one will not shop on black Friday. I think it is awful of the mega stores abusing their employees like that. A friend of mine has to be at work at 2:30 Friday morning. What's wrong with these stores opening up at a reasonable time?
