A former University of Michigan football player already serving prison time for prior convictions was sentenced last week on a count of assaulting a prison employee.

Boubacar Cissoko pled guilty to one charge and received a sentence of 22 to 38 months that will run concurrent with his previous sentence of 19 months to 15 years in prison.

Boubacar Cissoko, dismissed from the Michigan football team on Tuesday by coach Rich Rodriguez, had his misdeameanor charge of disorderly conduct dismissed today in Detroit's 36th District Court, The Detroit News reports.

Tennis legend Andre Agassi is about to release an autobiography and, well, it seems somewhat shocking.

In the first excerpt published by The Times of London, Agassi reveals he used crystal meth in 1997 just before his marriage to actress Brooke Shields. He failed a drug test because of it and then wrote a letter to the ATP Tour in an attempt to explain the failed test. His letter got the test thrown out.

The book is scheduled to be released Nov. 9.

Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez dismissed cornerback Boubacar Cissoko from the team Tuesday for a violation of team rules.

Cissoko was suspended two games earlier this year for violating rules, but returned to play as a nickel cornerback in last week's loss to Penn State.

Cornerback Boubacar Cissoko is eligible to play Saturday against Penn State after serving a two-game suspension for violating unspecified team rules, Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez said Friday.

Meandering through the maize (and blue): Forcier's shoulder worse than previously thought

A few weeks ago, landing on it hard multiple times, Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier bruised his right shoulder.

Now, according to a report in the Michigan Daily, it might be worse than previously reported. Forcier's brother, Jason, told the Daily it is an AC joint sprain and "his shoulder is more injured than I think the public realizes."
