Washtenaw Community 2012 Judicial Candidate Forum
Tuesday, July 31st, 2012
5:30pm to 7:30pm
Towsley Auditorium, J. Morris Lawrence Building
Washtenaw Community College
4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor
This event is free and open to the public. Join us for an evening at WCC’s Towsley Auditorium to meet and hear from the candidates running for the two contested judicial seats on the 22nd Circuit Court (Washtenaw County Trial Court). The evening will consist of a moderated forum using pre-submitted questions, followed by a meet-and-greet with the candidates.
The Washtenaw Community 2012 Judicial Candidate Forum is sponsored by the following local organizations:
The Washtenaw County Bar Association, the Washtenaw Association for Justice, the Washtenaw Chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Michigan Hellenic Bar Association, the Vanzetti-Hamilton Bar Association, the Ann Arbor Branch of the NAACP, and the Michigan League of Conservation Voters.
For anyone who wishes to submit a question for the candidates, e-mail your question to washbar@washbar.org and put “judicial forum” in the subject line. Your question will be forwarded to the Host Committee for consideration. Due to the time limit of the forum, not all submitted questions will be used. Question submission deadline is 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012.
