Wolverine Health Explorers (WHE) is a non-residential summer camp for high school students interested in gaining exposure to the health professions while also deepening their understanding of their own personal interests, values and skills. WHE is sponsored by the University of Michigan Career Center.
Participants will engage in a variety of stimulating, hands-on activities in several schools and colleges on the UM Ann Arbor campus, interacting with faculty and staff, research scientists and graduate students. They will learn about opportunities in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, genetic counseling, nursing, public health, movement science and research.
While applications will be accepted until both camps are full, due to the limited number of available slots and the anticipated strong demand, early application is strongly encouraged. The $300 registration fee includes all activities, supplies, and morning and afternoon snacks.
