Benefit Performance at Creekside Restaurant for East Coast Storm Relief

Popular faith-based Ann Arbor rock band, Stevie D and the Wannabes, based at Ann Arbor church Bethlehem United Church of Christ, will be performing at the Creekside Grill, raising funds for East Coast Storm relief. The performance will take place Saturday, November 17 at 7:00 PM at the restaurant, located at 5827 Jackson Rd. in Scio Township, near Meijer. Patrons may order dinner beginning at 6:00 PM, with a portion of proceeds donated by Creekside to the cause. All funds raised will be forwarded to the Red Cross.

 

Stevie D and the Wannabes is a nine-piece band covering rock classics from the 1950s to the present day. Commissioned as part of Bethlehem church Outreach efforts, the band has held successful fundraisers on behalf of numerous local organizations, such as Alpha House, the Delonis Center and Groundcover News, in partnership with the Creekside Grill. These organizations, which assist among the neediest in the Ann Arbor area, have received thousands of dollars donated by the Creekside Grill, restaurant patrons and related fundraising efforts led by the Wannabes and Bethlehem church members. Band members donate their time and cover all expenses, with all proceeds forwarded directly to the Red Cross.

 

Bethlehem United Church of Christ is a downtown Ann Arbor church, serving the community for over 175 years. With outreach activities as a major part of church mission, Bethlehem church creates opportunities for helping the neediest of Ann Arbor, through organizing volunteers and donating funds.
