A California-based company is expanding its operations and setting up shop in  Ann Arbor.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) announced Gary D. Nelson  Associates, Inc. is planning to invest up to $1.2 million to open a new facility  called Nelson Interactive.

The operation will provide full-service staffing for the video game  industry.

The company expects the project will create up to 95 full-time jobs. It has  been awarded a $400,000 incentive from the state.

According to the MEDC, the company chose Michigan over a competing site in  Ohio.

The City of Ann Arbor has also offered a one-time grant in support of this  project, according to the MEDC.

The company hasn't announced when hiring will begin. You can browse open  positions at the company's other locations by clicking  here
