Farm products shipped via railcars through the years providing food to the east and west coast aided in the settlement of Michigan and the vast farming communities that sprang up along the railroad. SMRS operates over the first Branch rail road line and one of the earliest rail corridors built in Michigan. This year SMRS celebrates its 30th anniversary.
While in Clinton visit the local farmers market and Antique Tractor Show taking place at Tate Park just west of town.
