The International ATHENA Foundation® is proud to announce it has selected its 2010 Athena Award® Recipient, and three women to participate in the ATHENAPowerLink® Program in 2010.
The three women who will participate in the ATHENA PowerLink Program® in 2010 are
ATHENAPowerLink® is an advisory program designed to increase the growth and profitability of women-owned businesses. Since 1999, the ATHENAPowerLink® Program has been helping women-owned businesses in Washtenaw County expand profitably through the use of professional advisory panels.
The proven mentoring process "links" a business with a volunteer panel of advisors recruited from the local community. The panel and business owner work together for one year to meet the specific objectives of the business owner.
2010 marks the fourth year the ATHENAPowerLink® Program is active in Washtenaw County.
Previous participants who have benefited from the Athena PowerLink Program include: Sharon McRill, President and Founder, Betty Brigade; Marisa Smith, President and Founder, The Whole Brain Group; and Casey Stark, President of 1-800-Got-Junk.
