I'm not sure if this is the best place to post something like this, but I got an email a few days ago from my apartment complex messageboard telling me about a free website where I could search for grocery items and find the stores that carried each item, and how much each item was at each store.
I tried the site out over the weekend while looking for a bottle of wine to go with a pasta dinner I cooked for my wife and I ... and I'm happy to report the site delivered!
I found a great bottle of wine (at a very reasonable price) at Morgan & York.
The only negative comment I can make about the site is that it's inventory is still a bit small ... you can't search for items like eggs or chicken on the site yet ... but it's a GREAT idea, and I hope the people behind this site keep growing their inventory as the summer goes on!
(By the way, thanks to whoever started this site for saving me the time and gas I would have wasted driving around town looking for that bottle of wine myself!)
If anyone out there is interested, the site address is:
