Dawn Farm is inviting all who want to have a GREAT TIME while supporting a GREAT CAUSE to join us for the 39th Anniversary Dawn Farm Jamboree!
On Sunday September 9, 2012, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, the annual Dawn Farm Jamboree will celebrate recovery from chemical dependency with a FREE FUN event that includes entertainment for the entire family. This popular celebration features live music by NoteWorthy, hayrides, a live and silent auction, children’s tent and midway, food and beverages, farm animals, Dawn Farm’s own gift shop and much more!
In addition to this opportunity to experience a fun and exciting event, hear great live music, and find terrific bargains at the auctions, the Jamboree provides an opportunity to support a critical community service. All proceeds raised through the auctions, gift tables and sales will help Dawn Farm to fulfill our core value of providing compassionate, competent and hope-filled professional care for people with alcohol and other drug addictions who lack resources and need help. Dawn Farm provides a continuum of addiction treatment and recovery support services that have helped thousands of people with addiction to achieve long-term recovery. And, it’s exciting that when recovery happens, everyone benefits – recovering individuals, families, friends, neighbors, employers, businesses and communities.
Dawn Farm welcomes old friends and new friends to join us for an afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, food, music, bargains, and a wonderful celebration of hope, recovery and community. The Jamboree will be held at Dawn Farm’s residential facility, at 6633 Stony Creek Road, which is between Textile and Merritt Roads in Ypsilanti. Lots of free parking is available, and we will have a golf cart shuttle to assist people with mobility difficulties to access the Jamboree area from the parking area.
