"Habitat for Humanity" to Benefit from Mix of Religion Backgrounds

Ann Arbor is known for its diversity in population and the arts, but there is little public attention to appreciating the many religious backgrounds in our community.

An upcoming Interfaith Round Table Service Project in support of Habitat for Humanity, Saturday, January 15th, 8 am-4 pm, will encourage people of all faiths to work side-by-side at the H4H house that is ready for renovation.

"We are inviting Friends, Baha'is, Jews, Hindus, Christians and Muslims, just to name a few," comments Rev. George Lambrides, an organizer of the project.

"There is plenty of work to do with people of varying skills," he added.  Participants must be at least 16-years-old.

For further information, call or email Rev. Lambrides at 734.424.1535 or gbrides@umich.edu.
