Home of New Vision Announces changes in Board of Directors

Home of New Vision’s Board of Directors,; Glynis Anderson, CEO and the Home of New Vision staff wish to thank Beth Glover Reed, PhD, a pioneer in the study of women and substance abuse; as she reaches her tenure as Board President at Home of New Vision.  Ms. Reed has led the board and the agency during times of tremendous growth and contributed to some of our most phenomenal successes. Ms. Reed, an Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Michigan as well as a published author and respected researcher, has been a member of the BOD for 7 years and Board Chair for 3.  Ms. Judy Borel, Vice Chair, will succeed Ms. Reed as Chair, in August.  Ms. Borel is currently volunteering with The Cancer Support Center of Ann Arbor serving as a consultant for The Brides Project. Terry Davidson, retired from Livonia Public Schools with a focus on Higher Education and Research has accepted the position of Vice Chair. Home of New Vision also welcomes new board members Tom Powell, Professor of Social Work at the University of Michigan, Greg Glaesmer, Certified Public Accountant, and Kevin O’Hare, founder of Touchstone Recovery. We are grateful to continuing board members Trisha Hunt, Finance UPS, Michael Johnson, Attorney, and Emily Brewer MD, from Packard Community Clinic and Chronic Pain Solutions.
