Item: Why would an intelligent student of higher education in Aurora, CO commit an act of mass murder?
Where does the idea of mayhem originate?
Item: An exhibit in the U-M Clements Library in Ann Arbor entitled "Murder Most Foul: Homicide in Early America" through October 2nd features proudly, according to their director, "...15 kinds of murder including decapitators. hanging, dismemberments, stranglers, ax murderers, pistoleros and other shootings with all manner of firearms."
Item: The papers of murderer Ted Kaczynski "The Unabomber" are preserved for eternity, shelved next to the other apparent important papers in the archive of the University of Michigan Library.
Question: "Is higher education part of the problem or the solution to the warped attraction to societal violence?"
