Does spirituality contribute to recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction? Does recovery from addiction contribute to one's spirituality?

You can learn more by coming to “Jewish Spirituality and Recovery from Addiction,” on Tuesday April 24, 2012, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, by Rabbi Yisrael Pinson (“the recovery rabbi.”) The combination of the values of recovery and the values of spirituality create a powerful environment that brings a healthy and meaningful life to recovering people. Rabbi Pinson will help the audience gain an understanding of Jewish spirituality, the spirituality of recovery, the difference between religion and spirituality, and how to use both for their recovery.

Rabbi Yisrael Pinson; is the Director of Jewish Recovery International and Editor-In-Chief of JewishRecovery.org. Rabbi Pinson, also known as the “Recovery Rabbi,”  is a powerful, moving and motivating speaker who helped create a Jewish Recovery Community in Metro-Detroit, where people in recovery from addiction and their families are helped through support, guidance, friendship & community.
