October 2 is Livestrong Day. This Saturday, people around the country are celebrating life and wellness while taking action in the fight against cancer. On this day, which is the day Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer and became a survivor, a new business, PR Fitness, will be opening with a day of health and wellness in recognition of this cause.

PR Fitness, founded by Chelsea Earls and Marie Wolfgram, offers personal training, classes and coaching for endurance athletes and anyone who desires to improve fitness, get faster/stronger and become a more balanced athlete. Both owners are certified personal trainers, running coaches and runners, and also work at Running Fit, a successful retail store that specializes in running shoes and apparel and also holds many running events.

On Livestrong day, free classes will be held throughout the day, with both a group run and bike ride to support the Livestrong Foundation.

PR Fitness also has bi-weekly free Livestrong group runs, with all donations going to the Livestrong program.

PR Fitness is opening at the Running Fit Jackson Rd location: 5700 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
