Matthew Herman Receives Second Place Award in International Speech Contest

Kiwanis International’s Aktion Club’s annual speech contest receives entries from all corners of the globe.    Matt placed Second in the Contest.

David Coulter and Mary Ellen Kane, Officers from the Michigan District Aktion Club presented the Award Certificate and Medallion to Matt at a December 15^th Ceremony held at the Kiwanis Activity Center in Ann Arbor. 

Matt is member and past president of the local WISD Aktion Club.  The club is sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs of Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor.

Aktion Club is a community-service group for adult citizens living with disabilities.
