Rec 101: Intro to Fishing

Learn how to fish with the Pinckney Explorer Guide.  All the gear, guides and good times provided FREE!  Three lucky participants will be selected to "fish with a semi-pro" in a boat on nearby Portage Lake in September courtesy of Wonderland Marine West.

A fishing license is required for those 17 and older.  A Recreation Passport is required for park entry.  You may purchase your $10 Passport when renewing your license tabs at any Secretary of State, or at any state park office. 

Event takes place at the Silver Lake Day Use Area in the Pinckney State Recreation Area, 8555 Silver Hill Road in Pinckney.
