Rec 101: Intro to Waterloo State Recreation Area

There’s more to do in Michigan’s state parks than ever before, and now you have a chance to get better acquainted with these outstanding attractions located right in your own back yard.

Meet park personnel who will answer questions in an outdoor classroom environment. How can I find out what’s happening at the park? Is group camping allowed? Where can I run my dog? What do those trail markers mean? It’s “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About State Parks But Were Afraid to Ask!” Light refreshments will be provided. Make sure to bring the kids out and enjoy the outdoors for this program that will last about an hour or so.
