This symposium brings together researchers throughout North America who focus on different aspects of caribou hunting in the Great Lakes Region.  This symposium is an outgrowth of research on the Alpena-Amberley Ridge, where a series of boulders thought to be caribou hunting drive lanes were discovered. As the project has progressed, researchers from a variety of disciplines have provided their expertise to this project. This symposium brings all of the collaborators together to share their knowledge.
