Ypsilanti Youth Theatre is proud to present "The Taming of the Shrew," by "Wild" Bill Shakespeare, the weekend of November 16 - 18 at the Riverside Arts Center on Huron Street in downtown Ypsilanti.
Director Rob Papineau's version of the play takes place in the Wild West and features bankers, cowboys, prospectors, gunslingers, rodeo riders, senioritas, and who knows what else? Not to mention our famous warring couple, Katherina and Petruchio!
All actors in Ypsilanti Youth Theatre are ages 8 - 18, and they've done a marvelous job with this production. Show times are Friday, November 16 at 7 pm; Saturday, November 17 at 1 and 7 pm; and Sunday, November 18 at 1 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children under 12. There is a discount for returning patrons after their first show. Tickets are available at the door.
