There’s still time to sign your daughter up for a summer full of day camp fun at a real camp! The Girl Scouts’ Camp Crawford in Milan, an affordable alternative to summer day care, is 65 acres of forest, wetland, pond and meadow, just ten miles south of Ann Arbor. Transportation to and from camp is available at the Ann Arbor Regional Center of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan, located at 1900 Manchester Road, at the Washtenaw/Stadium split. Day camp is open to girls entering grades 1-7.

If your daughter is not yet a registered Girl Scout, she can join Girl Scouts with a $20 fee added to her day camp registration. The weekly fee of $130 includes snacks and all program supplies. (Campers bring their own sack lunch.) Day campers will help plan their activities and will participate in cooking, crafts and nature programs.
