The Washtenaw County Bar Association in collaboration with the Washtenaw Chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, and the Old West Side Neighborhood Association in Ann Arbor will be hosting a public forum for the 2012 Washtenaw Trial Court Judicial Candidates. The Honorable Melinda Morris has announced her retirement after many years of distinguished service and we have two candidates, James A. Fink and Carol A. Kuhnke, vying for the judgeship. In addition, the Honorable Timothy P. Connors is facing a challenge from attorney Michael T. Woodyard.

This event is free and open to the public. The evening will consist of a moderated forum using pre-submitted questions, followed by a meet-and-greet with the candidates. Anyone wishing to submit a question for the candidates, email your question to washbar@washbar.org and put "Judicial Forum" in the subject line. Deadline for question submissions is Thursday, October 11 at 5:00 pm. Due to the time limit of the forum, not all submitted questions will be used.
