Jay Williams, executive director of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers, told area business leaders on his visit to Washtenaw Community College October 1 that the $2.9 million grant the college received from the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training initiative (TAA CCCT) is the kind of investment that will drive this country forward.
