Ypsilanti District Library @ Crossroads Features the Dorkestra

(YPSILANTI, MI) – The Ypsilanti District Library at 229 W. Michigan Avenue will be hosting Dorkestra this Friday, July 20.  Dorkestra is a diverse group of musicians who have combined their study of jazz, African, Latin, world, and funk music into a unique, eclectic repertoire.  This free concert will begin at 6 pm on the Library Park Plaza (it will be moved inside in case of rain).  Bring your own lawn chair and enjoy the sights of historic downtown Ypsilanti and free, LIVE music!

           

The Crossroads Music Festival sponsored by the Downtown Association of Ypsilanti will continue on Washington Street.  Wander down and listen to Spencer Michaud, Hoodang, and Billy Brandt and the Mission Band.   At 9 pm, Aussie Annie McCue will take the stage to wind up the Folk/Roots Fest.
