Troop 477 year and Christmas Party
2011 was a great year for our scout troop. To wrap up the year we had a Christmas party. Soon the cabin filled up with scouts and their family members. The first thing we did was sung Christmas songs like, Silent Night and O come all ye faithful. After that we played games. These are games that are really competitive and fun. One of the games was the bucket game. We were asked to bring a lot of random things. The head person would say something random like scissors or even a sock. The teams would hopefully have this item and rush to the bucket. The first one there would be the winner. When all that was over, the lights were shut off and the candles were lit, for a dramatic reading of The Night before Christmas. After the inspiring story, came the best part. The best part was the food. The tons of treats were laid out. The cookies, brownies, and other sweets were delicious. It was a fun way to end a fun year.
Troop 477 is located in nearby Webster Township. We are members of the Great Sauk Trail Council, Huron Trails District. The Troop was chartered on November 30, 1962.
