Chelsea high school's premiere Show Choir, Company C, has been selected as one of the top ten finalists in Detroit Magic's 105.1 "Magic Glee Club".  Under the director of Steven Hinz, students will perform one song for a panel of celebrity judges, at Stautzenberger College, on November 13th.

The grand prize winner is determined by a combination of 49% online voting and 51% celebrity panel’s votes.  Voting is open now through November 12th.  Students and parents of Company C are on a mission to get the word out for community support. To vote, visit www.detroitmagic.com, register an email address, and submit your vote by clicking the banner above the video of the school of your choice.

"Company C has been a part of the Chelsea community for over 20 years.  This contest is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talent of the current 48 members in the Southeastern Michigan area.  If selected as the winner, the $10,000 gift would be used to purchase audio equipment and risers for the Music program in the CHS Auditorium to be enjoyed for years to come. Co.C is a much loved community asset in Chelsea, and it's great to have this spark generating interest in the whole region.", says Director Steven Hinz.

The public is encouraged to come cheer on your school. Finals are scheduled from 1-3pm, Saturday, November 13th.
