May 17, 2011 – Ann Arbor, Mich. – Families are invited to the Ann Arbor Country Club for an open pool party on Memorial Day from 12 noon – 6pm. Admission is free. Guests can enjoy the facilities, purchase picnic fare and drinks, and check out the value of an AACC membership at no obligation. The club is located at 4699 E. Loch Alpine Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
In addition, 10 percent of AACC memberships sold will go to support Dexter community students and teachers in funding innovative educational projects that cannot be funded by the Dexter Community School district. Prospective members may save up to $360 on a full golf, swim and tennis membership.
During the 2010-2011 school year, the Educational Foundation of Dexter funded 52 new grants, awarding $36,000 for a broad range of student programs and teacher training, reaching students in every school in the district.

The Educational Foundation of Dexter was organized in 1984 for the enrichment and benefit of the students enrolled in the Dexter School District. It is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides financial support for innovative and creative educational projects that cannot be funded by the school district. Each year, thousands of dollars are awarded to teachers in all of the Dexter schools through an approved grant process.
