New Milan Police Chief chosen

On Thursday night, May 24, a Citizens Committee in Milan chose the next Milan Police Chief. The committee, including various citizens and the mayor, interviewed two candidates. They chose Gerald S. Scherlinck of Troy to be Milan's next Chief of Police.

Mayor Kym Muckler chaired the committee.

Milan is located at least half in Washtenaw County.  Hopefully Ann Arbor dot com will report on this event.
