The Ann Arbor Aces Girls 16& under Fast Pitch softball team defeated The cross town rivals Ann Arbor Inferno 14-6 in front of a large crowd wednesday night at Ann Arbor Skyline.The Aces had a solid pitching performance from Paige Gallinger,Rachel Phillips and Katie Leite with Paige Getting the win for the Aces.The hitting attack was led by Kelsey Detering with three hits.Allison Weir,Lisa Stimpson and Rachel Phillips each had two hits and Meghan Traster had a Homerun for the Aces.Alysha Szewczul and Katie Leite each had three walks.The Ann Arbor Aces players are from Pioneer,Huron and Skyline High Schools, and is the only all Ann Arbor girls team playing together in 15 years in the 16 & under age group.
