So did anyone else see Michael Imperioli (from the Sopranos)?! We saw him walking around and even working a booth on Main Street. Was it really him? Or someone that just looked JUST like him? Did anyone out there see him???

David Arquette's quotes from the Detroit Free Press about Ann Arbor and Michigan... "Arquette and his family are out all the time. Hes been to a Detroit Tigers game, calls Zingermans Deli ridiculously good, is thrilled when the thunderstorms roll in, will order up some morning munchies at the Broken Egg, enjoys biking and cant get enough of the areas lakes and rivers. Its so beautiful here, incredible.

Thank you Jessica for the photo and the story. All these negative people and their comments are so silly. I have been following David Arquette's tweets and he has nothing but love for this city and for Michigan. We need this kind of attention for our beleagured state. Rob Reiner said as much when he was filming in the area.He loved Ann Arbor and Manchester! BTW, a friend who works at Zingerman's saw Hugh Jackman there last weekend...pretty cool Ann Arbor!

Wow. Every single day we hear about the "celebrities" in town. Just like watching animals in a zoo. How about we dispense with this tripe...give these people some peace and knock off the "hero worship" to cover some actual news. It's really infantile.

Looks like a nice/pleasant guy - not familiar with him as an actor, but glad to have movies being shot in town :O)

I would much rather read stories like this then the depressing stories that are usually written. Thank you for writing on this positive subject.

Can we please leave David Arquette, and any other celebrity alone. We do not need to fawn over them TMZ style. Let him quietly enjoy his time in Ann Arbor.

Wasn't Wonder Woman (Linda Carter) at last year's Art Fair? (Perhaps I'm remembering wrong...)

Jessica, thanks for this short but sweet post about a celebrity who is happy to be in Ann Arbor, and is very vocal about it. It made me smile. He seems like a nice guy and it's fun that he's been naming specific local places that he digs. Now I'm struggling to hold onto that smile after reading the crabby and pointless comments. Jeez. Please keep these type of quick and fun posts coming! They are one of my favorite things about the new annarbor.com!

What Tru2Blu76 said. (A2.com you HAVE to start putting "like" buttons on here!) Think about the positive publicity if he talks about how great it was to film in this area when he's doing the talk show circuit before the film opens. This is very cool.

Sorry, I have no clue who David Arquette is, but I wouldn't mind running into his wife, Courtney Cox at the Art Fair.

I think it would be cool to run into him at the Art Fairs. I think it would be cooler to run into his wife, Monica. Erm....I mean Courteney Cox-Arquette.

I'm a little bit of the mind "how is this news?" too, but I have to like that he is showing the world what we already know... Ann Arbor (and Michigan in general) has a lot to offer!

Is David Arquette going to become a daily post? This is a news story how? Is Jessica Webster and annarbor.com stalking Mr. Arquette?
