More news from the entertainment world this morning:
MORE MOVIES
• The LA Times' "Gold Derby" blog handicaps the race for "worst actress" in the Razzies, the annual tongue-in-cheek anti-Oscars that are often more interesting than the real thing. In one odd sidelight, Philly.com notes that Sandra Bullock is up for both best and worst actress.
• Michael Moore to the rescue: A fundraiser to save the Harbor Theater in Muskegon did much better than anyone hoped, as our friends at the Muskegon Chronicle report.
• So who's really got 'it"? EW.com has a poll wondering which of Vanity Fair's current Hollywood "cover girls" will have staying power.
MUSIC
• Reuters reports on the recording of the "We Are the World" remake to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti.
• Following a big night at the Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift expects to be out of the spotlight for a while (at least in the U.S.).
• Ratings for the Grammys took a big jump this year, the LA Times reports.
• Snoop Dogg is coming to the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Feb. 17.
• Russell Brand says his marriage to Katy Perry will be performed naked. But he's probably kidding.
TELEVISION
• Alan Sepinwall of our sister publication NJ.com/The Newark Star-Ledger has an interesting essay on "Lost" as the series begins its final season (tonight at 9 on ABC). Also, Mekeisha Madden Toby of The Detroit News wrote a good recap and look ahead. And ABC News reports that a leak of the season premiere episode has provoked a surprising reaction: People aren't watching it.
• Rip Torn has entered rehab after being arrested in a bank.
• Race-car driver Danica Patrick will guest star on "CSI: NY" next week.
• Jon Stewart hammered Fox News for cutting off coverage of President Obama's Q and A session with Republican leaders.
• And Arianna Huffington has an entertaining Huffington Post item about her recent back-and-forth with Roger Ailes and Glenn Beck.
THEATER
• Rolling Stone has a feature on the cast of "American Idiot," the upcoming Broadway musical based on the album of the same name by Green Day. I love Broadway and I love "American Idiot," but this still seems like a really bad idea. Trying to keep an open mind, though.
ONLINE
• And finally today: It is Groundhog Day, after all, so Renee Tellez dug up this brief clip from ... "Groundhog Day." Reminds me how well this movie has aged.
