• Now I know why EW.com's recap of the first episode of "Lost" wasn't posted immediately yesterday morning: it is, shall we say, exhaustive. (Or shall we just say really, really long?) If you're a "Lost" geek, you probably already saw it, but if not it's a must-read.
• MTV's "Jersey Shore" is coming back for a second season, but a new location — and in an online poll, Detroit leads the list of contestants, MLive.com reports. The poll is here.
• This commentary from MSNBC.com has some not entirely complimentary thoughts as "American Idol" wraps up its audition round.
• Jon Stewart's appearance on Bill O'Reilly's show was disappointingly tame, as the New York Daily News reports, with some video to prove it. Stewart returns to "The Factor" tonight.
