If you present a ticket stub from the movie version of "Nine" — opening December 25 and starring Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Marion Cotillard and Kate Hudson — while purchasing a ticket for Ann Arbor Civic Theatre's upcoming stage production of the same musical, you'll save $2 on your ticket.

A2CT's production runs January 14-17 at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre. Performances are Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $12 for students; on Thursday only, all seats are $16.

Based on the famed movie "8½," by iconic Italian director Federico Fellini, the stage version of the musical (on which the new film is based) follows famous film director, Guido Contini, as he searches for a plot for his next movie, surrounded by the women in his life — past and present — who force him to reexamine his life, loves, and losses.

Tickets and information are available online at www.a2ct.org, by phone at 734-971-2228, or at the door of the theater before each performance. To check out the trailer of the film version of "Nine," click on the video below.
