Brittany Batell (Pandora) and Marc Holland (Edvard) play an unlikely engaged couple in Beth Henley's "Impossible Marriage," now being staged by Ann Arbor Civic Theatre.
"Marriage," by the author of "Crimes of the Heart" and "The Miss Firecracker Contest," is set in one family’s mysterious Savannah garden. As the eccentric clan prepares for the wedding of an unlikely couple, their comedic efforts to stop the impending union will either put a stop to the wedding or strengthen the bride and groom's bond.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m., Dec. 6. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $15 for reserved seating. (Studio Series passes are also available and offer 5 admissions for the price of four. Passes are available only in advance and a reservation is required to secure your seat.) Tickets are available by phone at 734-971-2228, or at the door. Additional information is available at Civic's web site.
