Erik Wright Olsen and Elizabeth Mowers star in A2CT's Studio Series production of Daniel Stern's "Barbra's Wedding."

Beginning this Friday, February 5, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre will present — as part of its Studio Series — "Barbra's Wedding."

Written by Daniel Stern (an actor featured in "Whip It" and "Home Alone," among other films), "Wedding" focuses on occasionally-employed B-movie actor Jerry Schiff and his wife, Molly, who live next door to Barbra Streisand. On the day of Barbra's wedding to James Brolin, Jerry — who hasn't been invited — is driven to lunatic behavior that threatens to destroy no only his stagnant career, but his marriage as well.

Starring Erik Wright Olsen and Elizabeth Mowers, and directed by Matt Martello, "Wedding" will play in A2CT's 40-seat Studio Theater, located at 322 West Ann Street. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. (through February 13), with 1 Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on February 7. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $15 for reserved seating, and they're available in advance by phone at 734-971-2228. For more information, visit A2CT's web site.
