Ann Arbor natives to premiere documentary at SXSW
Andrew Cohn, Rachel Dengiz and Davy Rothbart (of Found magazine and "My Heart is an Idiot" fame) will introduce their film "Medora" to audiences. The description of the film, on "Medora"'s Facebook page reads: "In America's basketball heartland, four boys from rural Medora, Indiana fight to end their high school's two-year losing streak, as their dwindling town faces the threat of extinction."
Rothbart and Cohn directed the film, and Dengiz produced it. (Dengiz is also involved with another film that will premiere at SXSW, called "The Punk Singer.") Check out the preview the filmmaking team put together for a Kickstarter fundraising campaign.
