Ann Arbor resident Trilbe Wynne made her first appearance on the TV game show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" this morning.

Trilbe Wynne
Wynne is a University of Michigan graduate student. She came on the show — a syndicated daytime version of the onetime network prime-time phenomenon — fairly late in today's episode and only had time to answer three questions. Here's a full recap:
Question #1: Category, 'Get Smart' Advocates tout “Smart Grid” technology as a more secure and efficient means to deliver what to U.S. homes? A: Cable television B: Drinking water C: Heating oil D: Electricity
With no hesitation and using no "lifelines," Wynne correctly answered D, and the question was worth $10,000.
Question #2: Category, 'Fashion Animal' A penchant for animal prints has earned what fashion designer the nickname “The Leopard King”? A: Roberto Cavalli B: Oscar de la Renta C: Tom Ford D: Jean Paul Gaultier Again without using a lifeline, Wynne correctly answered A, but the question was only worth $100, bringing her total to $10,100. Question #3: Category, 'Where Do I Play?' Which of these sports positions is often said to play “between the pipes”? A: Basketball center B: Ice hockey goalie C: Football quarterback D: Baseball pitcher Wynne used her "Ask the Audience" lifeline, and when 86 percent of them correctly answered B, Wynne went along and won $1,000, bringing her total for the day to $11,100.
That brought Tuesay's episode to a close, so Wynne will return tomorrow to finish her competition. The show airs locally on WWJ-TV (channel 62 in Detroit) at 9 a.m. weekdays. Although Meredith Vieira is the show's regular host, Sherri Shepherd of ABC’s "The View" is guest hosting this week.
Wynne will start Wednesday by looking at her fourth question with two lifelines left (two “Jump The Question” lifelines).
The show offered a sneak peek at the first question she faces tomorrow: Question #4: Category, 'TV Jingles' Since 2003, what musical syllables have accompanied the slogan “I'm lovin' it” in TV ads for McDonald's? A: Fa foe fa fa fa B: Do dee do dee do C: Ba da ba ba baa D: Hey hey hey ho hee
