Ann Arbor-set movie approved for state film incentive

The Detroit Free Press reports that an upcoming movie called "AWOL" — set in Ann Arbor and based on a real-life soldier during the Vietnam era — has been approved for a state film incentive of $1.8 million under new, limited spending on the program.
